Your scenery-packed Segway tour of San Diego's La Jolla neighborhood begins at Ellen Browning Scripps Park, named after a wealthy journalist and philanthropist who funded many historic area buildings. After a safety briefing, hop aboard your Segway and learn the ins and outs of operating this convenient personal transport vehicle. Once you're comfortable, set out to explore the hilly, oceanfront community of La Jolla — nicknamed 'The Jewel of San Diego.'
Cruise past Windansea Beach — a favorite with surfers — and La Jolla Cove, popular with kayakers, snorkelers and divers. Delight in spotting adorable seals and sea lions at Children's Pool Beach.
